True love of life knows
No time, shines its light on you
And lives in your heart.

After reading enough love poems on this website, it's becomes obvious that people don't understand love, which is weird, because when you read enough love poems, it becomes easy to take an objective look at what love is. From that perspective, love seems pretty simple. Two people find each other, are around each other for a bit, and then become attached to each other. This poem, of course, is not about that.

Instead, it's a love poem about our inherent privilege of being alive. Let's face it, the fact that we exist is a miracle. Unlike typical love, a love of live can be instantaneous, and doesn't even require you to love YOURSELF. No, it only requires that you take a moment to enjoy what's going on around you. It makes you genuinely happy like any love. What's more, you can use it whenever you'd like. It's a freebie.

"I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.'"-Alex Vonnegut, Kurt Vonnegut's uncle

Top marks because I was able to use a Vonnegut quote.
